What are the important topics from optics , wave & oscillation. Which topics i need to study with more detail ,depth.

Considering your name, that is Himanshu "Pandey", I could surely assume that you have no reservations!( or in the limiting case you you may have EWS reservation). So, I suppose you to score around 70 marks to get any possible IIT you wish. And considering both comments by Vaishali Ma'am and Dhawan sir, I would like to suggest you to study all subjects, but! But, you have to devide time for each subject according to their weightage and your understanding for that particular subject. You have around 7 months (I left may and didn't count January, assuming January for revision) And Broadly speaking, seven subjects too. Don't devide each month to each subject. Look for their weightage and syllabus in exam. You can explore the subjects of you are interested in some low weightage subject after joining IIT.( there you will have World class professors and labs to explore) But, for now, you have to score good marks in JAM anyhow. So I suggest to study all the topics suggested by both guys earlier. Do more and more questions, first try to do them by your own, then ask us. We are always here for you. All the best.

in optics interference, diffraction, reflection, diffraction,snell's law and ,lens formula are important. But I suggest you dear focus on Ed, mathematical, Qm more n kore you can skip optics or if u want to read u should read only whatever I told you.

two tutors already give you idea about the important topics of optics and wave oscillation. but I strongly recommend you that first focus on important subjects i.e mp, Electrodynamics,qm,classical,electronics,optics.. waves comes little in the exam so first study important one then go for details of waves and oscillation.. or I can suggest you don't go in detail of waves and oscillation according to exam point of view... optics contains much weightage, so read it properly, it's each topic like diffraction , interference, polarisation are important... for any doubt we are here.. feel free to ask.. best regards
