How can we separate a mixture of succinic acid and anthraquinone ,what are the reactions involved in it?

    To separate the mixture of these two samples you need to check the boiling point of both. B.P.(succinic acid)=235°C B.P(anthraquinone)=379.8°C So you can separate these two by fractional distillation method. No need to react them but it takes additional efforts and time consuming. You may think that is this temp. you really need to go? My answer is no. What you have to do is try out the distillation process in a reduced pressure. Kindly accept my answer
