in 3rd example the last double bond is not show GI due to similar gp on same side..

sorry yes it's was only to explain concept

Tejas please Mark the very first explanation rather than discussed ans so we can get full point..

calculate the total double bond or stereogenic centre for GI and calculate the GI using following formula

if ring double bond is regid then rotation is restricted and this double bond may show GI is correct??

    eduncle-logo-app

ring bond could not show g.I (BUT if no . carbon in ring more than 8 than ring show cis trans along ring double bond. here ring have only 6 carbon)

Suresh sir i think chiral centres prefer over Geometrical centre to calculate total stereoisomers

    eduncle-logo-app

so according to me total stereogenic centre is 3. am i correct?

    eduncle-logo-app

both chiral centre consider 1 stereogenic area for geometrical isomerism

    eduncle-logo-app

there are minor difference between stereocenter and stereogenic area

    eduncle-logo-app

    okay

A stereogenic center is just any location in a molecule where the interchange of any two groups gives a new stereoisomer.
