How to identify whether the mineral is oxide and silicate ?sir,explain with examples.

    Where ever there is sillica tetrahedron is present we say it as silicate. OTHER where silicon not present and oxygen present then it's simply oxides. Olivine,pyroxene, feldspar amphibole,mica,Garnet,aluminosillicate,chlorite all are sillicates . quartz is sillicate and also an oxide. Coroundum is oxide.
