sir if lim x tend to infinity =infinity and limit x tend to (-)ve infinity tends to (-)infinity then how u conclude it cuts x axix at only one point

    eduncle-logo-app

sir please tell the concept behind that logic

    eduncle-logo-app

here limit concept is used for making graph showing function is rising from -infinity to infinity and since f is strictly increasing implies graph will not come back and go to infinty .

    ok sir

sir how u conclude if once cut x axis it will never cut again

    eduncle-logo-app

    that i not got

    eduncle-logo-app

since it is first of all polynomial of odd degree . it will definitely cut the x axis at least one time

    eduncle-logo-app

    you got this

    eduncle-logo-app

it is monotonically increasing function . if it cut the x axis one time how it will come back to y =0 for that the function should behave decreasing that is not possible bcoz for all real numbers it is increasing only

    eduncle-logo-app

sir suppose it was even function then wont that cut x axis atleast once

    eduncle-logo-app

no that is not necessary. it is one side result

    ok sir
