For molecules with two atoms(diatomic), we use MOT trick. while for other molecules (with more than two atoms), we use method of drawing resonance structures and then calculating the bond order as follows:

    what's your doubt in this?

    eduncle-logo-app

for this we have to draw molecular orbital diagram right

    sir

    sir

    this am asking

    eduncle-logo-app

yes see for diatomic you simply check my MO diagram

    eduncle-logo-app

you can also learn this by trick

    eduncle-logo-app

and for other either by drawing MO or by drawing resonating structures you can calculate BO

    eduncle-logo-app

    by trick??

means apne convenience ke liye jaise O2 ka bond order 2, + honge to 0.5 add jaise 02+=2.5,O2 2+=3...... minus honge to -0.5 jaise O2- ke 1.5, O2 2- ke 1
