Time management is very much important in IIT JAM. The eduncle test series for IIT JAM Mathematical Statistics helped me a lot in this portion. I am very thankful to the test series I bought from eduncle.

If you had only one subject i.e. PHYSICS in B.Sc.(Hons.) final year then you can apply for M.Sc. PHYSICS only. You can not apply for M.Sc. MATHEMATICS. If you had two subjects in final year of B.Sc. then you can apply for masters in both the subjects. Some of the NITs admit M. Sc. students through IIT-JAM exam. And you have graduated in engineering (B. Tech.)then you can get admission to M.Tech. through GATE. As your question was not much clear, so I explained for every possibility. If you have any more confusions regarding this you can ask further details.
