I m new to QM so i m facing problems in the basics, in this given equation of wave function , in order to verify the Schroedinger wave equation how will i find the potential related to this harmonic oscillator, if i get the potential energy i can partial differentiate other quantities and feed it in the Schroedinger equation and verify it

one more thing dear the solution which is shown is for time independent wave fxn you have to use this wave eqn.

i hope dear now you get it

yes dear we can calculate potential from the sr eqn only when we know the value of energy. but here potential is defined that it is harmonic oscillator type so no need to calculate...

apply time dependent Schroedinger eqn put values in eqn and put energy in terms of operator and then. we get Lhs = rhs. if hv any prblm write me again.

my question is, the value of V(x) that has to be substituted in the Schrödinger equation can be calculated from the equation of Wave function or its has to calculated from the cond...
