I used this formula to solve this question is it correct but my ans is coming different.

The frequency of the photon produced when an electron of 20 keV is brounht collision with a heavy nucleus is 2. (in term of 1018 Hz).

    E = 20 Kev .........(1) also E = hv ( v = frequency) = 20 Kev ........(2) Now from eqn (1) & (2) v = 4.8 × 10^18 Hz

    as total energy of electron is used to eject photon so u can directly equate energy of photon Is equal to given k.e of electron...
