If a beam of electrons impinges on an energy barrier of height 0.03 ev and of infinite width. fi nd the fraction of electrons refl ected and transmitted at the

I tried to find the answer using the concept of transmission and reflection coefficient. But I doubt my approach because the question requires me to find the fraction of electrons.

your approach of using this formula for T, R is absolutely correct. see, it askes you to find fraction of electron. now, what does transmission Coefficient actually means? it is the fraction of electron transmitted out of total incident electrons, so there is is not any mistake in this given approach.
