if a point on the earth , the vertical component as well as the horizontal component of the earth's magnetic field are equal then what is the value of magnetic inclination at that point

    the value of magnetic field will be = (value of vertical/horizontal) .tan45° =( value of magnetic fields along vertical/horizontal) .√2

    45 degrees... look at the given figure... the vertical component and horizontal component are equal .. and hence if you take up a resultant vector from it .. it will be 45 degrees...
