In a measurement of quantum efficiency of photosynthesis in green plants, it was found that 8 quanta of red light at 6850 A were needed to evolve 1 molecule of O. The average energy storage in the photosynthesis process is 112 kcal./mol O, evolved. Hence, the energy conversion efficiency in this experiment is 12 (A) 20% (B) 25% (C) 33.5% (D) 100%

sir ye nicha wala part samaj nhi aaya

anjali this is average energy stored for the process for 1 mole

so we first change kcal to j...thats why we multiply 4.18 to calorie and for kj to joule multiply by 10^3 ...and for 1 mole we have to find so divide this by avogadro number
