There are 0 p-pi and 2 d-pi bonds in H2SO4. • This can be evident from the structure and hybridization of H2SO4. • The structure of H2SO4 contains two OH group bonded via single (sigma) bond and two oxygen atom bonded via double bonds (1 sigma and 1 pi). • The hybridization of H2SO4 is sp3, so all the 3 p-orbitals are already involved in forming sigma bonds. Therefore, both the pi-bonds will be formed by the d-orbitals.
