    a) 1 V. At t q = 3 C, as the charge stored in c1 be q. Now at t = 0, S1 is open and S2 is closed, then Potential difference across c1 + c2 (since they are in parallel) is q/(c1 + c2), since charge in c2 is 0 as vc2 was 0 earlier. Net Capacitance = 3 F. Hence, V = 3 C/ 3 F = 1 V
