In this solution i am not getting how is equivalent is equal to oxygen and hydrogen also elain last step in which they have mult. with 1/2 and 1/4 (6),

Solution: 1 mole (faraday) electric charge yields 1 equivalent of matter. 20.942 equivalent of Ag= 108 Eqn. 4 (6), Chapter 7 20.942 mole of electric charge = 109 faraday. 108 Since the same amount of electricity is passed through dilute NaCOH sohution, 20942 108 equivalent of hydrogen liberated 20-942 and equivalent of oxygen liberated 108 20.942 mole of H, liberated = x=0097 108 Eqn. 6i), Chapter 71 20-942 = 0-0485 mole of O, liberated 108

    shweta, yha question diya he ki Ag 20.942gm librate hota he to iski help se kitana charge flow ho rha he calculate kr skte he. or is charge se kitna mole O2 or H2 librate hoga calculate kr skte he... bhut simple calculation he kisi formula ki need nhi he just dhyan rkho 1 mole mean 1 faradey isi se ye Ques solve ho jayega
