    Intramolecular forces are stronger because for covalent bonds they involve the actual sharing of electrons because the molecule forming intramolecular hydrogen bonding contains two groups such that one group contains hydrogen atom links to the highly electronegative atom and the other group should contain a highly electronegative atom linked to a less electronegative atom.
