Is the topic series solution of differential equations of bessel, hermite,laguerre,and legendre's in syllabus of jam?????

Is the topic series solution of differential equations of bessel, hermite,laguerre,and legendre's in syllabus of jam?? If it is in some other university exam syllabus such as du,bhu, etc.... then please let me know it..

    no dear, these topics are not part of jam. but these are the part of tifr, jest. so I suggest u that read it's definition so that u can ans the direct question of these topics...

    BHU don't provide prescibed syllabus for entrance. BSc semester syllabus is usually referred for msc entrance. Or you should see previous year papers. U can get them on official website of BHU.

    if they mentioned it in their syllabus it may be...... like in Net- jrf exam it's clearly mentiond that DE + special fxn . so i think it should not be in ur syll
