    yes, absolutely right. here we will prefer ortho effect in benzoic acid as well as in aniline. ortho substituted benzoic acid is most acidic and Ortho substituted aniline is least basic due to steric reason

    you did it right...In case of A and C ortho effect decides acidity and basicity and in case of B and D acidity and basicity is decided by inductive effect๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
