Is z a closed set or not?

    Z (set of integers ) is closed set . In your attached , corrollary is correct but example is wrong .

    yes, Z is a closed set because it has no limit point. closed set definition is said " E is closed if and only if an element p €E be a limit point of E then it must be in E " in case of Z no point is limit point hence Z is closed
