Isn't e due to conducting sheet sigma/epsion0?? here they have taken sigma/2epsilon.. which is e of a non conducting infinite sheet

A large dielectric slab of thickness d and dielectne constant 6, 1s placed parallel to an infinite conducting plate having surface charge density o. If dipole moment per unit volume nduced in the dielectric is a/3 then value of s, 1s (Upto fwo decimal place). The polarization of the dielectric is given by PoE=502 2 260 Given 1pl-Therefore Therefore, 6, =1+X =1+==167
