1.Isostasy is the condition of gravitational equilibrium between Earth's crust and mantle such that the crust "floats" at an elevation that depends on its thickness and density. 2. This concept explains to how different topographic heights can exist at Earth's surface like such big Everest. 3.Airy hypothesis suggest that the density of crustal thickness and mantle remains unchanged throughout the earth. i.e 2.6gm/cc and 3.3 gm/cc .but if a crust is thick means great in height then the root balancing the above pressure will be more. 3.deposition effect shows weathering from top height mountain leads to deposition at low area and thus shifting of root to the below of depositional area.
