Time management is very much important in IIT JAM. The eduncle test series for IIT JAM Mathematical Statistics helped me a lot in this portion. I am very thankful to the test series I bought from eduncle.

due to steric hindrance in (i) less stable than two
it is saying no reso on A.. how can it be possible
Steric inhibiting resonance is abbreviated as SIR in organic chemistry .It inhibits resonance in any molecule by distorting the planar structure of the molecule which is essential requirement of a molecule to exhibit resonance
If there is two bulky group in ortho substituted compound the repulsion between them lead to send the gropu out of the benzene plain. Hence Resonance get stopped
sir. here isopropyl grp will be out of plane na.. but benzene ring will remain on plane. Here only reso is occurring on benzene ring.. how it will change resonin benzene ring then?
due to bulky groups repulsion in 1st compound loss its planarity results no resonance..
benzene ring will lose planarity?
only ortho is bulky...attached in benzene sourav..
but it is saying reso will not occur on A and occur on B?
when planarity lose stop the resonance
sir but isopropyl grp is not involved in reso with benzene ring na? so how any effect on isopropyl grp will affect reso?
