The options (A), (C) and (D) are correct. A gas described by van der Waal's equation is:   It behaves similar to an ideal gas in the limit of large molar volume It behaves similar to an ideal gas in the limit of extremely low  pressures as both correction terms a and b can be neglected due to very large volume. It is characterized by van der Waals' constant that are dependent on identity of the gas but are independent of the temperature. Thus 'a' and 'b' are temperature independent but depends only on the nature of the gas. It has the pressure that is lower than the pressure exerted by the same behaving ideally. This is due to presence of inter-molecular attractions
