    Karst is a landform formed due to dissolution of carbonate rocks and beds. When it comes about carbonate this means the sedimentary deposition of carbonate solutions by occean. Ocean is formed in the late archean age so after that carbonate is formed .. Then comes the matter of dissolution ,it takes place when oceanic regression took place and fluvial system drained into it along with acidic meteoric water. Sillurian,Devonian and missisipi time of carboniferous time is prominent for this karst formation so it comes Under Paleozoic era.
