    Sir 2nd contradicts limit rule x tends to 0 and y should tend to 0 then only we get loga

    just some substitution and find the attached solution.

    yes I just realized after uploading it. but here is a more acceptable solution. take y as a parameter and x as variable. as on putting y you are getting 0/0 form. use L hospital rule and differentiate. then put the limits y at the place of x. and you will get a^y * ln a. then on putting y equal to zero you will get this answer given in this solution
