    As you are asking for simpler method, apart from putting taking log and doing all that, that process takes time in exam. To do it in lesser time, here the solution is - Look, the limit is 0+, that means any positive number very near to zero, let's assume, x=0.000001, now do x^x, 0.000001 ^ 0.000001, try it using calculator by yourself, it will give you something like, 0.99999998... Which is very near to 1. So the answer is 1. I hope you get this. Ask if any doubt.
