Time management is very much important in IIT JAM. The eduncle test series for IIT JAM Mathematical Statistics helped me a lot in this portion. I am very thankful to the test series I bought from eduncle.

option b is correct.
how do we come to know that there are two angle between the masses
when 2 masses are coming from different places, they will make different angles with x direction,
In question, it is given that they will collide and they are moving with different velocity so they will never collide along the x-axis because both have different velocity so it is obvious that they will collide then definitely they are coming from different directions\n and will makings some angle with x axis
still you don't understand?
now understood
