MPPSC (Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission) has announced the Notification for the post of Gazetted Second Class (Assistant Professor).

Eligibility criteria
To appear for the exam, candidates are required to prove their eligibility, such as educational qualifications and age limit.
Following are the brief details of the MPPSC Assistant Professor Eligibility criteria.
Educational Qualification
Aspirants should have a master's degree with 55% aggregate marks or be enrolled for post-graduation.
Candidates who have cleared the UGC National Eligibility Test or CSIR NET or Equivalent exam which is accredited by UGC.
MP Set Qualified candidates are also eligible. (Set Qualified from other states are not eligible)
However, candidates, who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in compliance with the “University Grants Commission (minimum standards and procedure for award of Ph.D. Degree), Regulations 2009, shall be exempt from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor.
50% aggregate marks (without rounding off) in master’s or equivalent degree - for ST/SC/OBC-NCL/ PWD/Transgender candidates
Ph.D. degree holders who have completed their master’s examination on or before 19th September 1991 (irrespective of the date of declaration of result) will be eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks for appearing in the MPPSC Assistant Professor Exam.
Age Limit: Min. 21 years to 40 Years (As per Circular F 07-46/2021 Dated 18/09/2022 Age Relaxation 3 years, therefore, Max. Age Limit 43 Years)
Age Calculation Date: 01/01/2023 (As per class 10th Mark sheet)
MPPSC Exam Pattern
To start your preparation for the exam, you will require a well-defined latest exam pattern that will help you know the Marking scheme.

The MPPSC Assistant Professor exam is conducted in Three Parts. 1st Part (Paper 1) consists of general aptitude questions and is common for all subjects. 2nd Part (Paper 2) consists of subject-specific questions. The exam is conducted in offline mode and consists of multiple-choice questions. 3rd Part will be the interview round.

·40 percent marks for each paper is compulsory.
·10 percent marks relaxation for EWS, Sc, St, OBC, and PH. Therefore, these category candidates have compulsory 30 percent marks compulsory for each paper.
