sir but order of element should order of group and 142 does not divide 156..so how can we proceed further..!!?? probably i am doing mistake pls once tell that
No. order of element should not be order of group. There is formula for computing order of element in zn. first find gcd between both. and divide order of group which is here 156 by gcd
sir i meant to say order of element should divide order of group ...isnt this true for abelian group..?
yes. but 142 is not order of element
78 is order and that divide 156
