NET full form is National Eligibility Test which is a national level exam conducted by NTA with the guidelines released by UGC.
This exam aims to select candidates for the profile of Assistant Professor and JRF (Junior Research Fellowship). Candidates who wish to pursue their career as a teacher or researcher in top Indian Universities and Colleges appear in the NET exam.

NTA CSIR NET/ CSIR UGC NET
CSIR NET full form is the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research National Eligibility Test which is conducted for 5 subjects from the Science stream. This exam also selects candidates for the profile of Assistant Professor and JRF. And, like UGC NET, NTA is the conducting body for this exam too.
