option (C). OH group group attached to the benzene ring do not undergo substitution reaction due the partial double bond character because of delocalisation of lone pair of O atom inside the ring. Also benzene ring do not give nucleophilic substitution reaction when there is any EDG (electron donating group) attached to the ring because it makes benzene nucleus more in electron density. Thus, only OH group attached outside the ring can be substituted.
