Time management is very much important in IIT JAM. The eduncle test series for IIT JAM Mathematical Statistics helped me a lot in this portion. I am very thankful to the test series I bought from eduncle.

Consider the two cases where first it is projected in x drxn and second it is projected in y- drxn. and then compare the angles of the given vectors. Use basic vector properties like x cross x = 0. And the cosines of angles makes the direction vector of any quantity. See the attached solution. The (i) and (ii) equations in solution only corresponds to the angle directions, and no magnitude is used. Ask if any further doubt.
