Increasing the concentration of one or more reactants will often increase the rate of reaction. This occurs because a higher concentration of a reactant will lead to more collisions of that reactant in a specific time period. Molecularity of a reaction is defined as the number of the reacting molecules/species that are colliding simulatenously. As the number increases, the chances of their simultaneous collisions decreases. This means that it is very little probable than more than three reacting molecules may collide simultaneously. So,increases in concentration show positive change in reaction rate and with increase in molecularity there is less probability of increase in reaction rate.
