1.Synform is a structure whose limbs are dipping towards each other . Antiform is a structure whose beds are dipping away from each other. 2.Syncilne and anticline are defining the age relationship between beds . if the younger bed is at the center or core of the structure it will be syncline. if the older bed occupies the centre or core it will be anticline. How Antiformal SYNCLINE is formed?? suppose a sequence of bed is deposited layer after another so younger will be at top and older will be at bottom . Due to some tectonic activities the bed will totally flip then form a antiform then it will have SYNCLINE because young bed will be in core.
