According to me,when one of the slit is painted then u have only one slit open, then this one slit produce diffraction pattern( u know how single slit produce diffraction pattern), so u have fringe patterns,only the position of dark and bright will change. option a,b,c are incorrect...

Answer : option B and D are incorrect. when the light is blocked from one of the slit , then pattern is disappeared bcz there is no other source of light ,with which the coming light can interfere,thus produce the pattern, also the intensity will be reduced for the obvious reason that now the light is due to only one sourcr.

options A,B are incorrect. as dark becomes brighter and bright becomes darker, it's consequences is the faintness of the fringe pattern. See the solution attached.
