    Ortho effect is applicable to benzoic acids and anilines. It states that ortho substituted benzoic acids and anilines are more acidic than benzoic acid and aniline respectively.

    yes sir I know it but in a video it says that ortho effect works also in case of benzene sulphonic acid

    Rather in sulfonic acid its acidity is more due to three equivalent resonating structures...
