Ist check the compound is optically active or not. Your compound is optically active. Now there are two method. Ist find R/S and then check. 2nd try to superimpose . 2nd method will be simpler here as your compound is simple. It will be not superimposable. So enantiomer

dear teacher but they are not mirror images

    eduncle-logo-app

and enantiomers are non superimposable mirror images can u please explain 2nd method again

    eduncle-logo-app

They are mirror image. You take the mirror image of any compound and then check. it will be interconvertible

option A See the molecule from up side. upeer group gets wedge while lower group at dash. Check the position of H Whether it is wedgw or dash. it's position should be dash. if wedge Change the configuration or even change should be done

    got it?

sir can you please tell me how we find enantiomer or diasteromers on the basis of R & S configuration

    eduncle-logo-app

to Enantiomers minimum one chiral centre must be present and find out the configuration of each chiral centre. if configuration is R|S or RR|SS then these are Enantiomers

    eduncle-logo-app

but for diastereomers atleast two chiral centre must be present and atleast one chiral centre must has same and other have opposite configuration such as RR|RS or RS |RR
