Please explain how f=m(-8r) came? shouldn't it be f=8mr.

Consider a person standing at the center of a disc rotating with angular velocity o=2k (rad/sec). If the velocity of a particle at 7 =2 (m) is --4ô m/s, then the angle made by the instantaneous acceleration vector with the radial direction ( is 180 O 45 O 90o The net force on the particle is, F=m(o'ri+27 x) -m22+2*2x4 (-8)k} =m-8r) F Therefore, acceleration is ã = net = -8f m/s m Therefore, the angle between acceleration vector a and radial direction () is 180°.
