Time management is very much important in IIT JAM. The eduncle test series for IIT JAM Mathematical Statistics helped me a lot in this portion. I am very thankful to the test series I bought from eduncle.

In the pericyclic reaction the stereochemistry shown are relative stereochemistry not absolute. To explain the stereo chemistry of DA reaction think like that your dienophile comes under the diene to get orbitals in a right direction to overlap there and the stereo chemistry of the substituents are you can fix that outer substituents ( in my ans Phenyl group) are on the same side of the product. If in this approach we get wedge form the substituents but in the reality both diene and dienophile are planner so there is equal possibility that the dienophile comes above the diene. So we get Dash stereochemistry arround the phenyl substituents but both are Cis to each other
