    Correct answer would be (A) ... Migmatite is a mixed rock,usually formed due to partial melting or anatexis. Other terms--- Metasomatism is related to fluid action or the alteration of the respective rock(chemical changes occurring in the rock due to introduction of the fluid). Palingenesis is termed as recreation , so in layman term it refers to the generation of new magma from the pre existing magmatic rock by the melting. Pneumatolysis is generally referred to as the alteration due to hot mineralized vapours and gases and thereby affecting mineral properties.

    Anatexis: Anatexis means differential, or partial, melting of rocks. Metasomatism: Metasomatism is the chemical alteration of a rock by hydrothermal and other fluids. Palingenesis: The regeneration of magma by the melting of metamorphic rocks. Pneumatolysis: Magma emitting gasses that alter surrounding rock or crystallize minerals.
