    see attached..... becoz there are three different values of the function we will get.so it's just an indication that the value is corresponding to lemda one

    Everything is fine except the fact that, the comment written in box(of your uploaded picture) is only true for an invertible Matrix. if the matrix is not invertible, you cannot do that.

    dear , thats the property......that every eigen value satisfy the mayrix......i.e. it's from cally hamilton theorem....that every matrix will setisfy it's characteristic equation.
