    Facies is the gradual change of bed depostion material texture . it can be formed due to variety of factors climate, environment , tectonic association etc. so from this facies pattern we can interpret the factors above described .

    sir, ex if any sedimentary rock get metamorphosed ....it means its facies changed....for a particular time strata has specific facies.

    yes it will change ,facies in sedimentary rocks will have a grain size distribution variation while in metamorphic rock it will be assembly of different type of minerals and Rock types.
