Time management is very much important in IIT JAM. The eduncle test series for IIT JAM Mathematical Statistics helped me a lot in this portion. I am very thankful to the test series I bought from eduncle.

dear, according to me, the (x,y)=(0,1) given in the question so the probability of y is 1/2( as no of y values is 1/(total no of values i.e 2)).. from this we get probability of y is 1/2.
but E[Y]=y*p(y) so why here we only calculate probability..??
