Total stereoisomers will be 8. It has 2 chiral centres and one effective geometric center. The double bond in ring can't show geometrical isomerism because it is strained. Also, the below double bond has two same H as a substitutent on a single carbon.

What's the correct answer Roni? Here, the question is asked about stereoisomers, not geometrical isomers. Other people have answered it 2 which I think is incorrect.

yes sir .. I face a problem .. when I accept ans ... .. at I see only ans only 2 isomers from .. other .. .. this time I accepted their ans.. some time after I see that .. 8 is correct and .. but this time .. I could not accept your ans because before see this ans I accept other ans..

    sorry sir ..

Generally in lower cycloalkenes geometrical isomerism cannot be observed at double bond site as trans isomer is not possible due to highly strained conditions. But in higher cycloalkenes it can be observed

only 2 geometrical isomers. only double bond having different groups at each double bonded carbon atom give geometrical isomers. if odd number of double bonds are present then geometrical isomers and if even number of double bonds are present then optical isomerism present. Note- cycloalkene having double less than 8 carbon doesn't give GI
