    When we say the limit does not exist, it means that the limit is either infinity, or not defined and If both are finite then right and left hand limit not equal .

    we can use definition of limit (epsilum - delta ) also to show limit not exist .

    yes you are right.left hand limit not equal to right hand limit then the limit does not exist
