    the important thing to learn from this question is on how to calculate average of any quantity. please see the attachment for details.

    i did the same way and got the same answer but answer given is option b im confused 😕

    Well, the answer we both derived is actually equal to option B from the given question.

    option b is correct... here frequency is given so we have to change angular frequency into frequency... see solu...

    isn't that average for whole time period that you calculated but question is asking to find average from equilibrium to extreme position so time elapsed will be T/4

    yeah.. time period is T/4.. but it will not create problem here..
