    arfken is a good book .. you can also go through hk dass as it has complete syllabus , but do it carefully as it contains little mistakes too.. good luck..

    if you want to learn in deep. You may refer Arfken. This book is preferred in IITs itself.

    Kreyszig is the best book for Mathematical Physics as far as IIT JAM is concerned. This book will cover everything in JAM syllabus.
