-OCH3 at ortho & para position shows +M effect

Ortho & para position are Less stable

ortho is more stable than para due to -I effect

At meta position only induvtive effect occurs

    eduncle-logo-app

So in 2nd there is inductive effect -I of OCH3 group

    eduncle-logo-app

stability of carbanion increases by -I effect

    eduncle-logo-app

So 2nd one is most stable
