iii is more stable because -I group at more distance than iv. more the distance less is the - I and more the stability

    first one is wrong shweta

    eduncle-logo-app

    stability goes like i>ii>iii>iv

    eduncle-logo-app

stability of carbocation directly proportional to +I ,+H and +R

    eduncle-logo-app

and inversely proportional to -I and -R

    eduncle-logo-app

    ok

    eduncle-logo-app

have you check the -I series shweta??

    eduncle-logo-app

but in third and fourth I have used dnp rule

    eduncle-logo-app

    no

    eduncle-logo-app

    thus is right n

    eduncle-logo-app

but in 3 two chlorine atom more unstable but dominant factor is Br which is nearer ..so fourth one is least stable

    eduncle-logo-app

    yes

    eduncle-logo-app

    got Shweta??

    eduncle-logo-app

    sir no2bhi to hai

    eduncle-logo-app

    which has more minus I

    eduncle-logo-app

    which makes carbication unstable

    eduncle-logo-app

No2 hai lekin dominance distance factor karega shweta...Br near hai..so jyada -I effect lagega

    eduncle-logo-app

    4th one

    eduncle-logo-app

sir no2kyin le re hai dnp main

    eduncle-logo-app

no2 to hai he dominant ....I am considering dnp for third and fourth only

    eduncle-logo-app

two chlorine hai 3rd carbon pe..but Br 2nd carbon pe hai..so iska jyada -I effect hoga

    eduncle-logo-app

    ye pta chal gya

    eduncle-logo-app

    jbki no2 is different

    eduncle-logo-app

No2 ka effect jyada hota hai bt wo 3rd carbon pe hai...

    eduncle-logo-app

    acha

    eduncle-logo-app

    distance dependent..first priority dena hai

    eduncle-logo-app

    ok

    eduncle-logo-app

    samagh aa gya

    eduncle-logo-app

    cropped1027352445534087276.jpg
    eduncle-logo-app

    got it??

    eduncle-logo-app

but I have done third like this

    eduncle-logo-app

but here we will give priority to distance.

    eduncle-logo-app

    did you check my explanation??

    eduncle-logo-app

but sir why second is more stable it's no2 gruop electron withdrawing group more minus I than cl and br here we are interestrd in stability of carbication

    eduncle-logo-app

ii is more stable than iii because here in iii there is two Cl so ii have more -I effect than ii. but stability is reversed so ii is more stable

    eduncle-logo-app

please accept the answer if you got it πŸ™πŸ™

    eduncle-logo-app

    thanku sir

    eduncle-logo-app

    you welcome πŸ™

    eduncle-logo-app

    okay
