1 A 1.250 g sample of octane (CgH18) 1s burned in excess of oxygen in a bomb calorimeter. The temperature Cebe alorimeter rises from 294-05 K to 300-78 K. If heat capacity of the calorimeter is/8.93 kJR find the heat transferred to the calorimeter. Also calculte the enthalpy combustion of the sample of Octane. When 20-0 gof ammonium nitrate (NH4NO3) is dissolved in 125 g of water in a coffee-cup calorimeter,the temperature falls from 296-5 K to 286.4 K. Find the value of q for the calorimeter.
